If you don’t have any ideas in mind about what sort of food you prefer, our catering project directors will be delighted to offer menu suggestions and advice. They can also assist with related matters such as thematic concepts, cuisine details or protocol requirements for your event.

Chapman Holmes chefs use only the freshest produce and the finest cuts when creating a menu. In addition, the Chapman Holmes Catering and Special Events procurement policy on food dictates that a high organic content is used for all our menus, and we never knowingly use any GM foods.


For those staging a more formal style of event, we recomment our banquet catering service. This seated meal can be serviced in classic silver service style or as a plate served meal, depending on what best suits the occasion and the venue.

All our Chapman Holmes chefs make all their own soups, terrines, sauces and desserts from scratch, ensuring your guests enjoy a fresh, delicious meal.

The seasonal vegetables we serve are all freshly cooked to order on-site. Again, you have the choice of having these silver served, plated or “family placed”.


Buffets can be the ideal solution for events where large numbers of people need to be served at once, particularly in venues where the layout makes table service logistically difficult. Buffets can work equally well in corporate conference settings and at private weddings.

The catering team at Chapman Holmes can create the perfect buffet to suit your needs. Depending on the style of your event, you may prefer a carved buffet or an internationally themed gourmet menu.

At Chapman Holmes we believe that catering in the great outdoors, and in particular barbecue style catering, can be the heart of a truly inspired and memorable event. In fact, we love to use our barbecuing skills to create a superb piece of al fresco theatre.

Our catering team will put together the perfect barbecue menu for your event, whether it’s an elaborate corporate barbecue for 4000 or a private feast for 50.

We know that barbecuing tastes have come a long way since the days when sausages and hamburgers were the norm (although we’ll happily serve up homemade sausages – in 60 different varieties – if that’s what you prefer). With that in mind, we can make your menu as elaborate or as simple as you like. Our signature dishes include Rock Lobster Tails, Crocodile Steaks, Langoustines, Hot Smoked Tuna and Tournedos of Beef.

Of course, all our food is of the highest possible standard and is cooked fresh and to order.


Chapman Holmes is a member of the world renowned “La Chaine des Rotisseurs”, and as such we have the skills to provide a fabulous centrepiece for any occasion.

Using these skills, our highly qualified Cuisine Team will roast to order and carve in front of your guests anything from a suckling pig to a whole side of lamb.

While our catering staff are happy to offer suggested canapé menus, we can also devise a bespoke menu to suit the particular style or theme of your event. We also offer the choice of hot or cold canapes, depending on your needs.

Our canapés can be catered to all types of functions from cocktail parties and pre-dinner receptions, to exhibitions and product launches.

During your event our professional wait staff will circulate with your chosen selection of canapés. Our team are trained to explain clearly and precisely to your guests about each of the canapés on offer.
